In this  Episode of Season 2, Elizabeth Prentiss, a foreign ambassador and Prentiss’ mother wants the BAU to investigate the abduction of a Russian immigrant being held for ransom. The breakthrough in the investigations is achieved when they find Natalya’s mannerisms suspicious. It turns out that Natalya and Lyov were in cahoots with each other in the kidnapping. Natalya was bitter about the fact that her father had brought her to the US, and failed to give her a decent life. Lyov first kills her father after which four Russian mobsters enter the meat packing plant and kill both Natalya and Lyov. There is one emotional scene at the end where Prentiss talks to her mother. Elizabeth doubts herself, and Prentiss tries to calm her down by soothing words. There is also one interesting little conversation between Prentiss and his mother wherein Elizabeth asks her son whether he was enjoying his new assignment. Prentiss replies, saying, “Well, enjoying is an odd description”, and adds that he is required to deal with some horrible things. Elizabeth says, “I thought that was where you wanted to be.” And Prentiss answers in the affirmative.
