In this Episode of Season 2, a new member, Special Agent Emily Prentiss is inducted into the BAU team. She has the difficult task of measuring up to the expectations of Gideon and Hotchner in spite of being the daughter of high-end diplomats. The team is investigating into murders executed by two serial killers, who are seen to be outdoing each other. The breakthrough in the investigations is achieved when the team discovers that the two killers are communicating through personal adverts in the newspaper. They were holding the nicknames Holden and Sunny respectively-characters from a book ‘Catcher in the Rye’. Finally it turns out that these are two killers with different tastes. While one targets educated middle-class women, the other kills prostitutes. The BAU team lays a trap for the former in the forest where he used to dump bodies, and successfully nabs him. This is followed by a press conference in which JJ makes a statement denting the pride of the other killer, who then walks into the FBI building only to be captured by Hotch. There is funny line by Gideon: “If killing those women made you an artist, the things you did to them after they were dead, what does that make you??”
